China on Sunday launched its first freight train to London, the China Railway Corporation said.
周日，中國鐵路公司稱，啟動(dòng)了中國至倫敦的首列貨運(yùn)列車。
Departing from Yiwu West Railway Station in eastern Zhejiang Province, the train will travel for about 18 days and more than 12,000 kilometers before reaching its destination in Britain.
該列車從浙江省東部的義烏西火車站出發(fā)，歷時(shí)18天并且行程超過12000公里，才抵達(dá)目的地英國。
Yiwu is known for producing small commodities, and the train mainly carried such goods, including household items, garments, cloth, bags and suitcases. It will pass through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Belgium and France before arriving in London.
義烏以生產(chǎn)小商品而聞名，該火車主要運(yùn)載諸如家居用品、服裝、布，袋和手提箱。在到達(dá)倫敦以前，該貨車將通過哈薩克斯坦，俄羅斯，白俄羅斯，波蘭，德國，比利時(shí)和法國。
London is the 15th city in Europe added to China-Europe freight train services.
倫敦是歐洲第15個(gè)加入中歐貨運(yùn)列車服務(wù)的國家。
The service will improve China-Britain trade ties, strengthen connectivity with western Europe, while better serving China’s Belt and Road Initiative, an infrastructure and trade network connecting Asia with Europe and Africa along ancient trade routes, the China Railway Corporation said.
中國鐵路總公司稱，該項(xiàng)服務(wù)將改善中英貿(mào)易關(guān)系，加強(qiáng)與西歐的聯(lián)系，同時(shí)更好地服務(wù)于中國“一帶一路”倡議(該倡議是連接亞洲與歐洲和非洲的基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和貿(mào)易網(wǎng)絡(luò))。
